Xbox one games are sometimes cheaper then pc!

So i found out you can buy digital xbox one games for quite cheap on ebay , which means its legit , ebay has quite strict rules etc.

Basically you buy a xbox live account with the game on the profile then you download it and you play on your profile.

I bought ryse for R380 from a buyer , there atm 2 people who offers it one in usa and uk ( could be more then 2 )

Usa guy does not have big list atm , but his cheaper because of exchange rate

Uk guy offers allot and you can make your own profile and choose the games you want on it also and more games you choose the cheaper it gets.

You buy the profile. The game is already purchased and tied to the profile.
You sign in with the profile on your console and download the game.
Switch profile to your own and play the game.

Cool. Didn't realise you could do that. Thought the game had to played on the profile it was purchased on.

How many consoles can I use a game on?
You will get a device license and a user license to every game you download from the Services. You can designate one console as your “Home” console and multiple users can select the same console for their Home console. The device license will automatically attach to your Home console, even if it’s not the console you are making the purchase from. As the purchaser of the game, the user license will be associated with your Xbox Live account.


Who can use my game?
Anyone can use your game on your Home console under your device license. When you log onto any other console with your Xbox Live account, you may use all games to which you have a user license.


Can I change my Home console to a different console?
You can change which console is your Home console up to 3 times during a one year period (365 days). When you change Home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new Home console and will no longer be available on your old “Home” console.

Same deal as PS Plus/XBL Gold on ex-gen. If one account on the console owns a game that's downloaded, other users sharing the console can play it as well.
 
What's to stop you reselling the profiles? Or even the sellers on ebay for that matter?

It's a great feauture, same as how it works on the PS as well. Fantastic
 
Not to be *that* guy, but just be wary of this. I see the sellers aren't selling Xbox download codes, instead they're selling accounts that have the games loaded. This happens a lot with iTunes scams, where the seller sells accounts with X amount in the wallet for a low price, and pretty much in every case, they're using fraudulent credit cards. So the account will be active for perhaps a few days, or a bit more until the owner of the credit card realizes and cancels/charges back causing the account to be suspended.

It's unlikely that your console or other profiles will be affected (but not impossible), but you'll surely lose your money from the original purchase (or some of it, if you can't do a charge back yourself). So, you know, just be careful :P

It's not 'the feature' Microsoft had in mind. They see the buying of an account as theft and will probably ban you or your console.

There are a number of situations that are considered to be account theft. Some of these include, but are not limited to:

- Buying an account.
- Using an account on your console that wasn’t created by you or your parent/legal guardian.
- Making purchases with an account that wasn’t created by you or your parent/legal guardian.
- Performing a license transfer on an account that wasn’t created by you or your parent/legal guardian.

Paypal also doesn't offer much protection when it comes to digital content.

13.4 Conditions for reimbursement

You may be reimbursed under PayPal Buyer Protection for a problem with a purchase only if all of the following requirements are met:

a. Your purchase is an eligible purchase. Purchases of most goods and services are eligible, except for purchases of the following :
xi. intangible items (including, without limitation, rights of access to digital content and other licences) ;

thanx i will most probably not buy again !

Weird that ebay allows this to be sold :/
 
This is very much against the Terms and Conditions of Xbox Live and will be clamped down on at some point.

I wouldn't invest money into it.

Just buy the games straight of Xbox Live instead.
 
So i got my profile now , logged in via web browser , and i see the game is on profile.

So will test tonight on xbox one!

I see the profile has dead rising 3 and ryse , might have scored a bargain!
