Xbox One or PS4? HELP!!!

All my friends are getting a PS4 and I always play Call of Duty with them and its really fun but now I want to get an Xbox One because I love Halo and I love the Xbox multitasking and the experience as a whole. I will probably get Destiny as well. Please help me decide between an Xbox One and a PS4. My friends are playstation fanboys and won't switch no matter how much I argue.

and take one of their PS4's and buy a Xbox...

Jokes aside...I'd go for the PS4...Gran Turismo...need I say more?
 
Paying 1k more to play halo, and that excludes the price of the actual game. That doesn't seem worth it to me.
 
Well the PS4 is releasing 13 December, and the Xbox is releasing next year.... dunno when honestly. That alone should be enough to motivate you a little.

I vote PS4 as well.
 
Considering that the 360 was the best selling console in the world, one would expect the Xbox One to take over the reigns.

Not really. Maybe.
You should get whichever one suits your requirements.
If gaming with these specific friends is that important go for the PS.

And having said all of this, you do realise that buying a newly launched console immediately after launch is most likely a bad idea, right?
The clever guy is the one who waits for the firmware updates, the software bug repairs, the overheating issues, the bigger harddrive, the hardware/software bundles and the price drops to take effect.
 
Well since XBone doesn't ven have a release date here yet, get the PS4.

Nothing is stopping you from also getting an XBone later.
 
I don't know why people always make a big deal of it. It doesn't have to be either or. Why not just get both? :confused:

2 of each is ok if you have a decent set-up, but otherwise makes sense just to get one of each, PS4 now to play with all his buddies and xbone next year when it is released here, so whats the problem?
 
This sounds pretty fitting for the latest South Park episodes that were just aired last week.

You got the first part right as the PS3 has already taken over that position early this year with one year future sales to spare!
The rest are down to personal preference and experience. There are a reason WHY the PS4 are so popular and it's got all to do with greedy M$ and their antics as well as the RROD scandal. Unfortunately they M$ lost their marbles since the Kinect arrived whilst trying to copy Nintendo at a huge cost. Lack of games for the 360 did not help either, just rinse and repeat Halo, etc. Hell, the PS3 are still receiving Sony love with GT6 to be released soon with others in line to come.

Also no matter what M$ say or claim the fact is no one can trust them any more. Remember Milo and super AI? Nuff said!

I will go for the PS4 for the quality AAA games coming. Also the resolution limitation on the eXB0Ne are a major concern which hopefully may be resolved in future but I doubt. Current Ps4 sales and demand tells it all.

Wait and see. I'll wait for halo to come out before making my decision
 
disregarding all the retards in this thread, I'd say wait it out and see. I'm really unsure myself. although I prefer PC above anything else
