I suppose it makes sense to do this, it would definitely increase revenue.

But at the same time, a big draw for it has been day 1 stuff. I am only going to subscribe when there is something I want to jam (like the new Gears game). Without that incentive, they will get less money from me. I'm sure I'm not alone here.

I think that is exactly why they dropping it

Economics only make sense if numbers stay subb'ed. The join to play for one month doesn't exactly work esp when people use them 15 day trails to play the game and leave.

Edit: fking lol they even dropped the 15 days to 14 now
