Are there any Steering Wheels available for the XBox?

I'm told the MS wireless one is still being certified (ICASA, I assume?), so what can I use in the meantime? Looks like normal USB controls won't work?

Cant wait for the MS wheel to be released in SA. Looks like a sweet wheel to play Forza2 on.

Some rumor of it being released July?

you are correct about the M$ one, you can however use the logitech one or import the M$ one

I have a few Logitech USB steering wheels. They are PC USB models but work 100% on my PS2. But the Xbox won't recognise them. Driver issues, I assume?

Which Logitech works on the 360?

I'm completely useless playing Forza, N4S and MotoGP with the normal controller. (Actually, I'm also completely useless playing them with a steering wheel, but that another topic!.......)

okay, so why does icasa need to approve a steering wheel? do they think that one would take a wireless controller and start up an illegal wireless isp or something?
/dont mind me, i've just been waiting so long for that darn wheel :D

I Imported mine and it was worth it, the others dont have force feed back. My advice is either import one or wait.

Is it a 900 degree steering wheel? The only appeal I can see it having otherwise is the wireless factor but that still wouldn't warrent the +R1500 pricetag.

The price is hectic, but it's advantages are:
Wireless (with no dongle)
Proper Force feedback
Really nicely made.

I believe there's a logitech available for about R600, but it's wired and has no FF.

I've got a genuine M$ wheel. I bought it in Aus when I was there earlier this year.
Works a treat and been wireless makes it even better.

I've got the Logitec wheel, and it does have FF. BUT - MS apparently did not want to release a spec on how to interpret the instructions received from the Xbox, so Logitec interpreted in their own way. Anyways, end product is a decent wheel with some pretty accurate FF, but I am sure the MS one will be more accurate - Not that I'd notice anyways. The other thing to take into consideration is the Logitec mounts to a table or desk - where the MS one you can pintch between your legs. So, if you are playing on TV, it might not work so lekker, but I use my PC's screen (no HDTV LCD TV yet) so the logitec is perfect for me.
