Is a 64 mb memory card sufficient to play/save games with for someone who doesnt have internet ? Do the console updates get stored on the memory card ?

64mb is a bit low since the NXE requires like 128mb (unless you have a jasper model with integrated memory).

The updates however gets stored on the internal memory but the space is limited so you'll only be able to have about 4 -5 game updates on it at a time (unless you have a hard drive of course or jasper)

No game updates in this case as the person doesnt have internet access, so you saying an xbox360 pre jasper model wont run/startup if theres no hdd or memory card larger than 128mb ?

The memory card is alright for most games but some games like HL2: Orange Box requires 20mb for a saved game.

thinking about getting an xbox.what are the advantages of the elite over the arcade version?is it just the memory...or are there other advantages as well.
are there any nice bundles available for the elite atm.

Yeah, but that's reserved for the NXE and updates - you can't save to it... Same for USB flash drives - nogo for save games... That's why 'm selling my Arcade w/o memory card on BoB - got a Xbox Pro w/ 20GB hdd...
