Hi guys, I was thinking of getting another HD4870 1Gb for Xfire.
However, I was also thinking of getting an Nvidia card say GTX250 or something to run PhysX instead. With Windows 7 supporting dual drivers, I could use the HD4870 for primary card and use Nvidia drivers with Nvidia card for PhysX.
Which is the better option? Xfire or PhysX?

can I suggest you upgrade your cpu dude, with the amd 6000+ I think you gonna see marginal improvements on your gaming fps, and you'll probably make your other HD4870 twiddle thumbs :p

shot guys, i was also opting more for the Xfire option.
Yeah, I am upgrading the CPU to the Phenom II X4 955. Not sure if the 965 is out.
This should be a good CPU? and won't bottleneck the gfx cards?

yes, that is a good CPU, but will the motherboard support it? but yeah, that cpu is plenty good :D,

The 955 is a great processor. If you really want phsyx you can get a 8600 or something.
