Fair enough. I'm the same hence going the route to delete all the apps off this new phone before I started and it's been great so far. But then it was also rather good with my Note 10 Pro where everything just worked (while I still had all those apps but never used). Still getting 1.5 days with my phone. Used the 120W charger the first two days to see how it worked but now just use my anker multiport charger at my bedside to charge phone. I have no need to have a fully charged phone in 17 minutes <- iPhone users need this - everyone iPhone user I have seen always needs to be tethered to a charging cable recharge their phones .. don't know why they don't seem to last a full day -even these new Max/Pro phones - dude I know is charging his by the afternoon!!

Really? I can get 2 days on my 14 PM easily, and they usually win battery tests, even though they have smaller batteries:

No one really cares if they have small batteries though ? Is that even a thing to the normal folk ?

Where that battery size started becoming a thing for iPhone users is back in the day when they couldn't outlast the Android flagships. Rather than not being 1st, they created something where they could manage a win.

They had pretty average batteries until around 2020 - but as you say, that last 2 or 3 generations have been great

Yeah, I don't know myself. For 2 year old phones, with old batteries, it is expected. But with the new phone .. understand but these guys must be on their phone alot (maybe phone calls chow battery ?)

Could also be something like an unrestricted APN, which drained my battery like nothing on earth. But in general most flag ship phones have very good battery life, be it Android or iPhone

Asked him again today. His battery on his two month phone is flat by the afternoon. It's his computer , everything. Lots of phones call. It's the big 1TB phone version.
