Xiaomi mi5

To be honest, I thought the same - wanted to get a Mi5 and only then flash the Note3 - but then I reminded myself that I thought the same thing when I flashed my old Samsung to CM. :D Made sure my old phone was set to be a backup in case of total disaster - then went ahead..
Took me days of reading everything out there, looking for just the right ROM and proper instructions. Now, finding a ROM without problems and with clear & concise instructions was harder than expected, and I even went recklessly ahead to try something knowing full well it probably won't work.

Bricked my phone. Fixed it and learned a great deal in the process - real stoked now that everything is settled and working smoothly.

Oh turst me I know how to flash and stuff around, hell I been on Android since Nexus 1. The problem is not the flashing, its all the Autenticators and other app set-up that hinder me.

Tried the following
Reset. Wipe
Portrait and landscape videos
Mute and speakerphone while on a call (only works while on speakerphone)
Reboot
Clear cache
Not 1 online solution so far worked

Going to tryry flash dev rom today

Can't go back to previous version even if it's dev rom

Seems like bootloader is locked can't put on a rom using fastrom either

I thought you going to Dev?

To go from Global Stable to Global Dev all you have to do is download official Rom from http://en.miui.com/download-299.html copy to phone Downloaded_rom folder and then select it manually from Update app.

Definitely an improvement. Not 100% though

On normal speaker just softer than on loudspeaker now

Wish was a way/app to boost the mic

Ok seeing that you now both had 8.2 Stable and 8.2 Dev, which one would you recommend? Just finished Downloading 8.2.1.0 And wondering if its worth the hassle.

Haven't really used phone on dev
But can't seem to really find any bugs on either

OK color me impressed. My Xiaomi Mi5 got updated to Android 8...

Some OEM's have trouble getting a model through 2 minor versions and here comes my Mi 5 released as Android 6.0 sitting with Android 8 now that is how you support a product.

If you look in the other thread there are complaints of bugs.
