Xiaomi unveils the Mix Fold 3

Xiaomi has unveiled the latest generation of its foldable smartphone — the Mix Fold 3 — which boasts a new hinge that the company says will survive up to 500,000 folds.

The Mix Fold 3 features a quad-camera system sporting Leica optical lenses, and the foldable packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

After owning a Xiaomi phone for this last while all I can say is the small quirks it has with its UI make it a pretty unpleasant and frustrating device to use, the build quality is good but that's as far as it goes, will be buying another Samsung again.

Was it a Redmi one?

I have a Xiaomi Pad 5 and I love the UI. Will definitely be getting a Xiaomi phone next when my OnePlus 8 Pro needs replacement. The Redmi devices are cheap and you can see why in the UI.

Yeah it's the 11pro, it's a few small things but it grinds my gears, the build quality is great and for the price is ok with the UI but I will need to spend the bit extra to avoid frustration.

Flash it with native Android?
Yeah it's got the processor that can't be flashed. It's ok I live and learn, I use my phone a lot for business so I shouldn't try and skimp too much in this area.

Didn't even know that was a thing. Now I know something else to lookout for

Why is the xiaomi 13 not available locally? Its supposed to be more on the high end of specs, but finding them only on a handful of sites. Its like no one wants to sell them

My experience with a Redmi Note 9 was also not great. Very good at first, with good specs on paper, but it felt like the RAM just went on pension after 18 months. It went sluggish and crashed often. It motivated me to get my first ever Samsung.
