Anyone used this how is it?

Would you recommend I install it on a laptop?

And also can someone send me it? I have a product key for XP Professional on my laptop.

XP is so "first decade of the twenty-first century"... welcome to 2010. We do Windows 7 in the second decade of the twenty first century! :p

How about Windows 7 Eternity Edition... or Windows 7 Black Edition! :p

It's for my old laptop so I'm thinking that XP is going to be a better option.

racist, where is the white addition ?

...by all accounts of what I have found online in my brief search the black edition is full of viruses and trojans and does not install properly! ;)

never had any problems either. Worked just fine for me. I guess it depends if you know what you are doing.

Dude let me put it this way, i bought a netbook and xo was slower than windows 7 and windows 7 had aero enabled.

I've used XP Black (perfect for Virtualbox) and never came across any viruses.

It's illegal afaik and it's full of viruses

You can simply use your own product key to make it legal. And I have never found any viruses on it. I suppose there might be versions with viruses, but I have never come across one. I guess that was a rumour started by Microsoft to scare people away from using it.

The only turn off is that most people like to configure their own PCs the way they like them.
