XP Icon Problems...

Hi Guys,

I'm having a problem here and I can't seem to fix it (with icon repair), basically, the icons on my windows xp have for some reason reverted to ... well, basically, the best way to explain it is to check the screenshot @ http://www.gdi.co.za/screenshot.jpg

I want to fix it so that the icons show correctly... can someone tell me how to do this.

mmm i seem to have the exact same problem :rolleyes:

and to top it off when i want to put my icon there at one side it doesn't allow me to only refreshes them by name??
 
Maybe change windows themes. Otherwise Windows repair. Otherwise get urself ccleaner and see if that cleans the **** out of windows.
 
what do you mean by win repair? like the roll back thing? and windows theme aint working :mad:
 
I've done the following:

1. Used Icon Repair that comes with TweakUI
2. Changed the theme to other themes then back, icons still stay the same.
 
No, reboot pc with windows xp disc in drive, select new install and then repair. You wont loose anything and windows will basically be reloaded.
 
I wouldn't want to do a Windows XP repair... there must be another way to do it but thanks for the suggestion.
 
I didnt have a problem. From reading the site it should fix their problem.
 
Hi,

Well, guess how I fixed it?
I just changed my resolution from 1280 x ??? to 1024x768 and it fixed it, then i moved the resolution up and bam... all working :)
