yes you can join a domain, at install time only, this is a flaw and unintentional. not exactly something they write about on the product box.So now you're saying you can join a domain?!
And you don't suspect that maybe, by some small chance, I joined the domain on install by some chance? <-- can't verify that because I can't remember that far back.
What I do know is I log on to the MCE machine using a domain account, and did not use any hack in joining the PC to the domain, thats why I didn't even know MCE2005 couldn't be joined to a domain.

Dude... I'm qualified in various IT certifications, including Microsofts MCP qualifications, I think I would know if my media center is on the domain.
So thats why M$ certified people only get R2 800 pm IF they get a job these days and not +/- 16K pm(starting salary) like they used to about 6 years ago!

pah,I still outearn you, and I do 33.5 hours a week, no weekends.Being a contractor has its benefits... specializing in Microsoft development, C#,VB.NET,SSIS,SSAS,SQL...etc... pays well at the moment, but the hours are long.
