SO I need to update to SP3 and I just want to gauge how it is. I heard there were issues with it killing internet connections? Has anyone had bad experiences with it or is it all good?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Been using it since it came out and haven't noticed any different behavior. My connection sometimes drops but it used to do that before I installed SP3.

I have been running XP Pro SP3 for the last 6 months without any snags.

If you are running any form of RAID, I would strongly recommend that you forget about this "upgrade".

XP SP3 broke XP's ability to read my onboard RAID Mirrors, and no amount of driver fiddling could solve it, and no further support is forthcoming from either Microsoft nor Gigabyte.

Network wise though, it's fine, as long as you have configured the firewall using the wizard, and have not done it yourself.

I have not had a single problem with XP SP3 on a single machine out of hundreds of upgrades over the last 8 months.

Thanks for the feedback chaps ..... I got basically the same response all over so I went ahead and did it. No issues, so fine by me :)
