Xperia X1 VS Touch Pro

Im up for a upgrade..and have wanted a pda type phone for a while.

I can get the Xperia X1 or the Touch pro as a upgrade , both for R4k extra once off...worth it?

Between these two im trying to decide but cant make up my mind, Ive done aLot of reading, and know the features of each etc, the differences are minimal so im looking for peoples opinions. I kno gsmarena has loads of opinions but those arent always reliable.

Has any1 here used both? What are your opinions on em
Suggestions on which to get? I see the X1 has a few dedicated threads to it here seems more popular on mybb ;)

I would take the Xperia, altough both are manufactured by HTC,the X1 is faster and has a higher screen resolution.The X1 is manufactured for SonyEricsson by HTC,it has faster RAM than the Touch Pro,Touch HD etc.
 
Touch Pro has a better keyboard.

X1 has a better screen, better build finish and a 3.5mm jack for headphones. That's why I went with the X1. Definitely the better choice for me.

i had a look at one today. It looks good, though I did notice it's smaller than it appears in the ads.
What are they asking for it?
 
yeah i got the x1 and it is great. looks really good, works well, screen is great (its like 800x480 res i think which is insane)
 
No one here have any major problems with it? like the case cracking or keyboard issues or anything
 
No problems here.
Flash with a ROM from XDA asap.
It makes a moerse diff.
I'm using Touch-IT 5.04.
Play Xtract if you can.
