UPDATE: THE WIN10 DRIVERS FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nwaOtbl5LIbWdvVV9xUk5pbUk/view?usp=sharing

XTouch PF10sV2 is a windows-based tablet being distributed by Axiz and Esquire. It comes preinstalled with a slightly older build of Windows 10, but because it only has 16GB of eMMC storage I could not update to a newer build. I was wrong to assume that Windows 10 would automatically handle the drivers okay when I formatted and loaded a fresh install of Windows 10 1607 14393.693 (32 bit) I should have backed up the drivers first with double driver or something, but that's another story.

The XTOUCH website does not have this item listed yet and neither XTOUCH Dubai HQ or Axiz have responded to my request for drivers sent over a week ago. Does anyone else have this tablet? I desperately need the touch driver and can explain what util is needed to back it up. Or maybe someone else around here has this problem and we can approach the manufacturers/distributors for the drivers more aggressively? I've managed to get all aspects of the device working with drivers I've found via strenuous googling - but the touch driver is another story

If you are still struggling maybe you can try this touch screen driver from the chipset.rar archive. I think it works on some of the Nextbook Windows tablets.
https://files.persona.cc/zefie/files/atom_z3735g_tablet/drivers/
Same cpu chipset (and graphics I'm sure yeah) but sadly there don't appear to be any touch drivers in that chipset.rar file at all xD

The HWID is "ACPI\VEN_MSSL&DEV_1680"
Seems to resolve to "KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device"
But I've tried many compatible drivers without good results. Seems to be a custom-configured Sileadtouch driver

Please could you explain how you did a fresh install? I am unable to boot from a USB device.
Something went a wrong, ( i suspect a crash of the OS). The device is failing while trying to do an OS reset.

Woohoo, got it working! Turns out the XTouch PF10sV2 is a variant of the WI101 series. 32-bit drivers for win8/win10 can be found here https://yadi.sk/d/rwm-XVb433KvbK

Could you perhaps send me those drivers? I'm also in need of them, the link provided returns an error, or they have been taken down.

Please let me know.

Hi Contribuques, and welcome to the forums ! I see what you mean about the link being dead. Glad we managed to grab them before :) I've uploaded to my Google drive -- try this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nwaOtbl5LIbTVwUE9JZGlUWVk/view?usp=sharing

Thank you Fragtion, this link works perfectly:), I Also want to ask, how did you reinstall windows on the tablet? the problem that I'm currently experiencing with mine is that it goes on, shows the xtouch logo, than goes blank for a minute as if its about to boot to windows but suddenly restarts itself...and that goes on, and on. Any ideas on how I could get that fixed?

I had the same problem. I don't have my tablet with me right now or I'd check for you, but it's definitely doable

You need to get into the unit's bios in order to boot-override where you'll select a bootable USB drive as the boot medium

Try plugging in a keyboard and hitting DEL / F1 / F10 , etc.. the usual bios keys on poweron. One of them should work

Then if I recall correctly, the USB drive will also needs to support UEFI boot, so the Windows 10 image you use must be EUFI-boot capable and you must configure Rufus (or whichever ISO->USB tool you're using) to create a UEFI-boot USB drive accordingly

Also, don't waste your time with an x64 image - only 32bit will work (we don't have the x64 drivers anyway).

If you can't get it right let me know and I'll check with mine this evening

Thank you for the awesome reply Fragtion, I will give it a try and revert back to you :)

Hi Fragtion,

I tried doing what you had advised here, created a bootable USB using OS 32bit, managed to get into the bios and enabled the USB boot but it just doesn't seem to boot from the USB, Am I doing something wrong?

Please advise.

Anybody try putting other version of windows onto one of these tablets? (Win 7 specifically)

I just had my second one die on me because it can't complete a Windows10 update and now is just a blank screen..

Before I take it back to Esquire and throw my toys again I would like to see if I can make it work....

Look - besides for the very limited onboard storage, it's actually a pretty capable little x86/intel-based tablet 'for the price'... so you could let Esquire know how you feel about it but that would technically impede our chances of obtaining similar products from them in future......? In any case, they're likely to argue the obvious: ie that you did see the specifications when you purchased the device so you should have known what you were in for.

What I suggest is to use the SD card slot (or USB drive) and move your user files (C:\Users\username\...) to that medium, and create junctions/symlinks for other big files/folders or simply install them straight to the external storage. It should also be possible to install windows onto such a medium and then basically just use that onboard storage for the initial boot loader. If the posted drivers work on Windows 7 then there should be no reason why it won't work, although I haven't tried.

Contribuques: Were you able to come right with the reinstall ? I've been out of the country for 2 weeks so I apologize for my late reply, but I've got the tablet on hand with me now and will be glad to figure out & document the process again if anyone is still struggling to do a fresh Win10 x86 install from USB

@fragtion - Yes please. This is a really nice little device that does just enough to make it useful for me. I need to get it functional and stop it from constantly trying to update and crash.

Just to let you know that we actually did not import these units into South Africa , but assist another importer to help move these units

We are aware of the issue with Windows 10 Updates and low storage space, in fact this is a known issue not only with XTouch but almost all Windows 10 Tablets sold across the world.

Please see if this can help you

Hi guys. OK - booting to USB is actually very simple - just did it again now

1) Plug in a regular USB hub, so you can plug in a Keyboard, Mouse, and The UEFI-bootable USB medium/flash drive (I prefer using DriveDroid on my Android as the bootable USB device) into the USB port.

2) Power on the XTOUCH, while tapping the escape (ESC) key on the keyboard you just plugged in

3) A graphical interface should appear with 6 options: "Continue", "Boot Manager", "Device Management", "Boot From File", "Secure Boot Option", and "SCU".

4) You may want to first pick "Secure Boot Option" to make sure your settings are the same as mine: "Secure Boot Database: Unlocked", "Secure Boot Status: Disabled", "User Custoimized Security: NO", "Enforce Secure Boot: Disabled", "Erase all Secure Boot Settings: Disabled", "Restore Secure Boot to Factory Settings: Disabled". Press F10 to save and exit any changes, or ESC to exit without saving.

5) Repeat Step 2-3, but select "Boot Manager"
* You could also enter the EFI shell to confirm that the USB device is plugged in, and browse for the EFI binary manually, but that requires some more technical know-how

6) Your UEFI-Bootable USB Device should show under the list of "EFI Boot Devices". If it doesn't show here, then there's a problem with your bootable USB device, its connection to the USB hub, or you did not configure it for UEFI booting properly. Get a proper UEFI-enabled ISO and follow this tutorial

Hi Fragtion,

So I managed to reinstall the windows 10 and it seems fine. But I am having problems installing the drivers you provided, not sure if some files are missing from the folders as there is no setup files....even tried following the instructions in those folders but doesn't pick up when trying to install. My touch isn't working, still have to use a mouse or navigate using the keyboard, do you perhaps have other drivers or full driver set?

Thanks A Milli

Hi Guys - Same issue as Contribuques - After fighting with the device to get it into recovery mode, it has reinstalled "vanilla Windows 10" No drivers at all. Audio, display, touch screen, the works are not available. I have emailed the supplier - both SA and Intenational and still waiting response.

This is a great little device - Way easier to carry around when you working in a cherrypicker 18m off the ground than a laptop - just need to get it working properly..

If its similar to my tab you may need to use a usb otg adapter to use some external peripherals
