Hi,

I had to take my HD pvr in for repair (luckily only the 4th time in 7 months). It was the primary decoder in my Xtraview setup, now my other decoder does not work. It keep on waiting for communication from the primary decoder, which is not there. I spend almost 2 hours on the phone with the poor idiots at the call center, but they are not able to disable the Xtraview. According to them it is done, but my pvr is still very much in Xtraview mode. I was promised a specialist will call me right back (5 hours ago), I just called them back and now they tell me there is nothing they can do (still no callback).

Any ideas?

If the primary decoder is in for repairs, then tell them to set your secondary decoder as primary. Only got this to work after arguing with the customer care on the issue for 2 days.

If you are close to one of the Multichoice centres, I suggest you go in and sort it out there. The service at the centres are generally excellent and might be a lot easier than over the phone.
