I did a self install of xtraview about 6 months ago, and everything has been working 100% until now.
I have a DSD 1110 in the bedroom and a 2P PVR in the TV room. I could watch my recorded shows in the bedroom (via RF) and the 1110 relayed my remote commands without a hitch. Now, although I can see the PVR image in the bedroom, the decoder no longer relays my remote commands.

When I try and use the remote for the PVR (TV1 setting), the channel display on the 1110 decoder flashes briefly, and nothing happens. The yellow light also flashes like it used to when it worked. The image from the bedroom decoder will also stutter briefly when trying to relay commands.

Here is my setup:

Primary decoder using satcr, bedroom using legacy port on same lnb. RF out on pvr to rf in on bedroom decoder (also heartbeat), rf out on bedroom decoder into TV (as well as composite video). I have triple checked that the remote config hasn't changed.

Any ideas?

It could be that with all the updates recently, some of the decoder's settings have been changed by Monochoice. For example, everytime my HD PVR receives an update, the damn sound is @ half.

Go into the Advanced Setup (Code 9949) -> Xtraview Setup

One of the settings is relay remote commands or something similar.

Try changing this & see if it fixes the problem.

Yup relay is on (on the 1110), accept commands is enabled on the pvr. I checked communication ports as well (rf out on pvr, rf in on 1110)

Wait you can actually watch your recorded shows on the non-pvr decoder? I must check my xtraview out cause I can't do that.

I would (a) restart both receivers and (b) check the batteries in the remotes

I'm just watching it via RF out from the PVR, nothing special.

Thanks, but I have restarted both, and tried swapping the remotes. I still need to try a factory reset, but then I have to reschedule recordings. Looks like it might be my only option.
