Woke up this morning, friends car had being broken into outside our flat. They smashed the back window and threw human feces all over the car.

What a nice country we live in.
 
Why do you people blame the country, things like this happen all over the world. Stop blaming the country because a few idiot individuals perpetrates crime. London, New York, Paris etc has the same problems we have. So lets stop saying "THIS DAMN COUNTRY". Clean the car up get hold of the insurance company pay the excess and move on. Crime is a part of everyday life for people all over the world YOU are not special. You or your friend is a statistic.
 
bex.cpt, it is this damn country because the criminals get away with it ALL the time.. its a small minority of them that get caught and even smaller minority of them actually get punished for the crime they commited.

Paris, London etc have these problems, but they have effective policing which does usually catch the criminal.

Ive being in an armed robbery where I was held for a couple of hours while they ransacked my place.

I have being in a hijacking where I was locked in the boot of my car for 9 hours.

I have had cousins attacked in armed assaults in farm attacks (family has lots of farms)

I friend of mine got hijacked a couple of weeks ago.. and he is still missing.. and no body has being found.

I have had countless items stolen from me.

So excuse me if I reserve the right to be bitter. I believe I know what I am talking about.

I'm sorry all these things happened to you:(

Worst to me was when my car was just missing when I left the shops and when I go knocked off my bicycle once threatend with a knife.

Recently my iPod.....

Know what? So fcking what if other places have crime? No shhit!
Its not as bad as here though! plus it gets sorted anywhere else! and the police there know what to do!

Worst I've ever had is having 2 cars stolen... and my house broken into 9 times in 4 months....

I doubt peeps in other countries wake up to find crap in their car and blame another country, so why why should we. Can you imagine: "buggers stole my car radio .... damn you Belgium" ..... duh.

When south africa has a crime rate comparable to any other country in the world (that isn't a war zone) then maybe people will be automatically less critical of the country itself.

As it is now, SA provides the best environment for criminals to ply their trade in the whole world. I guess that's proudly south african.

Sounds like your friend could have pissed someone off (or been confused for someone who did) - the faeces makes me think it was personal.

I got the same impression reading w1z4rd's post, but still it's a sad indictment on the country and society if people believe this is an acceptable way to behave.

PS: moved to N&CA.
 
I moved into the flat two days ago, the friend is from Jozi, and by the look of the poo someone had a really runny stomach, so I am assuming poor, street person.

I live next to an alarm response company, and the local police station is within eye sight two blocks down in a normal suburb. Lot of EL bergies walk around in the streets though.

Throwing of the faeces in the car generally (most of the time) means that they are making fun of you, they had that much time to rob you....

Think about it again, stealing for the criminals in this country isn't enough, they do this sort of thing as well... just look at how they superglued some guy to a stationary bicycle in the sun, how they tortured a woman by pooring boiling water on her...it goes on....none of it personal, they did it because they're nothing but low-life savages....

The faeces thing is common with these *S.H.I.T.H.E.A.D.S* :mad:

Years ago a friend of mine was woken when *S.H.I.T.H.E.A.D.S* were removing the sliding glass door, dropped it and smashed it. They had crapped on the paving just outside the door. :mad:

About two years ago I was robbed at home, tied up while the *S.H.I.T.H.E.A.D.S* ransacked my house. Next day I was looking around the garden for any evidence, and found a human turd near a tree stump they had obviously been hiding behind. :mad:

Some months later, these *S.H.I.T.H.E.A.D.S* came back to my place, the dog heard them and ran outside barking, I called security company but by the time they got there the *S.H.I.T.H.E.A.D.S* were gone, probably just hiding in next doors garden though. Next day again I found *S.H.I.T.H.E.A.D.S* faeces near same tree stump as before. :mad:

One theory I've heard is that the *S.H.I.T.H.E.A.D.S* do it so that dogs will recognise their smell and not be alarmed by their presence.

But this doesn't gel with me. One because my first friend that was robbed has no dog, lives in small complex so couldn't really have one anyway. Two if you have a dog it recognises you fine without smelling your crap.

Also I have dogs as I said, but just two small Jack Russells, which pose no threat really other than alarms, and when they robbed us they pretty much totally ignored the dogs.

So no hard evidence as to why they do it, I thought maybe it's some kind of "Black Magic" or "WitchCraft" kind of thing? I think I'll start a poll or something to see how many people there are who've had robberies involving crap. :D
