it's like mxit.

I can't dl it onto my SE K750i :(

I can't get mxit ver5 either....

Any ideas?
 
I use www.talkonaut.com on my D900 for that sort of stuff. I really just use it to chat to a buddy of mine in America when my comp is off or if I've reached my cap. Supports MSN/GTalk/AIM/Yahoo ... not sure what else...

Don't know if it has the same functions, but it works great :P

hj2k_x try and older version of mxit , when you get to the download screen choose previous version.
 
uhh... I suppose, if that's what you mean by it being gprs/edge/3g data-usage based... I barely spend any money at all on it... So, yeah ;) I suppose ^.^

Ya, I have version 3 and it works fine...Just can't get version 5 to work. Thought it might have cooler features...Ver 3 is a bit basic and fiddly...

mm no features that i ever use, but then the whole thing irritates the hell out of me. rather just sms

Why cant you get V5 to work?
If I remember correctly I was a beta tester for V5 and it was the only phone that could use V5 to the fullest even file sharing...

Why doesnt it work?

When i try to download it from my phone i get to the page where you have to enter a security code, and it never displays...

My gf's Samsung D820 has the same problem.

Also tried downloading the app to our pc's and then sending it to the phone. But the phone still didn't know what to do with the file once it was on there...

It is cool to chat to someone if you are not near a PC. SMS's , even with a bundle, are still not cheap. At 1c for up to 4000 characters you can't beat it for value...
 
Pleasure :) I just hope it does what you guys want it to XD I mainly use it for its AIM/GTalk features... Works like a dream for me.

Nah cant be, when you get to the page with that code, just try reloading till you the code is displayed. PS try it during the day.

Yat is great it only cost R.01. It is easier than Mxit and has cool features.
