Yes...... another 19" LCD thread

I'm really, really, really, really, really, really sorry. It'll be quick and painless I promise.

Since rAge is almost apon us and my birthday happens to be this Thursday (yes, yes, I'm getting old ) I've decided I need an LCD screen.

I really would have liked to get myself a Viewsonic VX922 or VP930b, but they are still too expensive, over R4000!! What the hell's up with that. Everyone else had dropped their prices but Viewsonic has stayed the same.

Anyway, I've narrowed it down to two others:

The BenQ FP93GX or the Samsung 940BF. After reading some reviews I'm leaning more to the BenQ which is more adjustable but I'd like to hear what you guys think.

Also, definitely consider going widescreen. I've got a 19" LG L194WT, 5ms response, 2000:1 contrast ratio and 1440x900 native res.

Very nice for games, and any games that don't support WS natively, can more than likely be haxxored to support it. LOL

i don't like lcd's just because i find they don't have enough well personalty...

I've got the BenqFP93gx and i play a lot of games and do a lot of work on my PC. they are really well prices and it work really well for everything! BUT if u have a few extra bucks i'd get the Acer 19inch 4ms with Crystal bright. i work at pcgw in sandton... and nothing makes me happier than gettin to see that sexy Acer monitor all the time
