One other thing I did when I got my Mac was to reinstall it from scratch, I am of the school of thought where I have to redo the machine when I get it for the first time.

I also deleted al the printer drivers I could find from the library cause I dont ever use a printer, freed up 1.6 GB of space. (over 10 000, yes 10 000 files)
