Here's the story :
I'm currently using a bolt-on month-to-month 500MB data bundle and wanted to change it to a 250MB data bundle.
So, last night I logged in to vodacom.co.za and unsubscribed from my month-to-month 500MB data bundle (last day of the month). Got a confirmation that I'm unsubscribed and immediately put my phone on wi-fi.
This morning I logged in again and subscribed to the month-to-month 250MB data bundle. All went well and said on screen that I'm subscribed.
But when I logged in from work, I can only see a 500MB data bundle allocated to my account. Thought that is very generous from Vodacom, but decided to give the Helpdesk a call to confirm.
The operator told me that I did everything right, but it looks like I've fooled the system, cos of the 500MB data bundle I got. Told him that I'm not too convinced and extremely scared of the OOB shark, so not too sure what to think now.
