I've been getting this message on my new S9 that says "You have lost data connectivity because you left your home network with data roaming off", and then the signal obviously drops.

Coverage isn't that bad in my area and my wife has no issues with her S8. Has anyone ever had this issue?

Maybe enable data roaming?

Also it would help if you post details... Location, signal strength etc.

Location: Annlin, Pretoria
Signal strength fluctuates a bit, but normally it's between -95-105 dBm

The coverage map is pink for kilometres around where I live and my home internet LTE runs without a hitch.

If your wife is also using Telkom, it looks like a faulty phone. Book it in.

:(

I already took my first S9 back because it had a faulty sim card reader. This is the second one then that isn't working properly.
