a Lady at work are accuse of talking to hard at work.
She got a 2 weeks warning.

At my office there was a guy, nicknamed "raasbek". He still "raas", but some people comeplain that this lady talks to hard.
What can she do.

She is the very hard working type.

Talk softer.

It's irritating and enough to lose it if someone shouts or speaks too loud.
 
It depends on where she works and what she talks about?

Some people talk loud ... she may have a deaf spouse or parent...or she may be hard of hearing?
Seriously, I don't think it warrants a warning but of course it depends on where she works and what she talks about. Does she swear or call people names??

What's the sanction? "Turn down the volume or ???" :wtf:
 
work in a open office. Her sister is deaf. She simply talks hard/loud. She say hear hearing is fine.
 
I don't see how an employer can fire an employee for being loud, unless the work situation requires silence.

Ideally she should try not to speak loud ... but in certain cultures, it is ingrained and difficult to change.
I really feel sorry for her. Maybe a friend at work should let her know when she's talking too loud?
 
I once got a warning for talking to my hard.

Seriously though, she could be hard of hearing - or at least have some hearing loss, which I am sure many of us metal fans have. I enjoy someone who talks too loud. At least you can hear what they are saying. It is a bit of an unfair accusation as far as I am concerned and I am sure labour regulations are on her side on this one.
 
My advice would simply to be "STFU" and when you talk, listen to yourself.

It's not a pub where everyone is screaming at each other because the music is turned up just enough to make you have to do that, and then have to get louder because other people are loud and you need to do it to be louder than them to get heard.

Just sounds like she talks too much / too loudly and should calm down and just consciously decide to lower her voice a bit

So if a person is hard of hearing, can she hear herself when she does not speak loud?

I'm with GreGorgy. It would be interesting to know what the sanction is going to be (2 weeks warning and then what??? dismissed??? unpaid leave???)
