Currently I'm running a nismo 1.6T thats bulletproof. Easily do over 200kw on a hybrid turbo. Limiting factor is the gearbox. So I capped my torque well within limits.

I am very afraid of the M32 gearbox my car has. It recently rolled over 50,000km and ever since I got it with 39,000km the whine in 2nd has been noticeable - pulls no doubt. Add to that - the previous owners where not as "ham fisted" as I am. So yeah.... This car was bought as a rebound love affair to my French affair that ended.

But I guess next is either Italian or Japanese for me.

Heck, maybe I should just find another one with a Aisin auto? But where is the fun in that.

That said, I Am very curious as to how much power this will put down on the dyno.

Let's see what gives first. The M32 box, the 1.6t or my budget.

Do you have the corsa option engine? I think the corsa opc is the best looking small hot hatch of its generation. But they known to run 3rd piston.

Same engine and gearbox but mine is de-tuned by quite a bit down from the OPC spec. It is a bigger, heavier car .

I remember Cars In Action's criteria to be a performance car was 0-100 in under 11 seconds. Times have really changed.
