I was actually quoting the first post with scholes and xavi.
Yes lass is a really good CDM but i would prefer his partner Alonso/Essien/Toure/Masch

i'd probably put Essien in there. i forgot about the DM. i think Essien is one of the best , if not the best.

So i will take out Xavi and replace him with Essien

people might slate me for this , but i will put scholes ahead of Xavi . Scholes completed pass record is around 93%. Arguably the best passer of the ball. Scholes will control my engineroom...pity he is turning 35 soon.

then again , that's just my view. Xavi is also arguably one of the best passers of the ball :)

the only problem with playing scholes is you never know when your world xi is going to finish the game as world x

Xavi is the best central midfielder in the world. He has been for some time now. He makes Scholes look pretty average to be honest. He is the heart and soul behind every Barcelona attack.

since when did Xavi have a over 90% pass rate on passes between 30-40 yards:) since when did he score 1 goals in every 4 games????

Shot. I rate Ramos over Alves because of discipline, and the fact that he scored that free kick against us :mad: I rate Ramos over Maicon because Ramos is in a better league.

11 league goals in 12 games for a team in 7th spot plus his injuries. Better record than Drogba considering this season's circumstances

Alan you right! i totally forgot about him..he is truly a world class striker! The best in the business when it comes to a pure striker! Finishing at its best!
