For me it must be Heston Blumenthal.

For entertainment value I cannot leave out Keith Floyd but some the stuff he concocted I do not have a lot of confidence in :D

MY MOM IS THE BEST CHEF THERE WILL EVER BE !

Back to the topic, I'm so out of the latest celeb chefs after I canned my DSTV. Must say I was a big Jamie fan and love it before he went all tree hugging on the world. Best things I learn't from him though where how to make descent omelettes (just made some for the family for lunch) and quick, but tasty pasta meals.

Just got a new stove this week (ceramic top with large thermofan) and its so nice being back in the kitchen. I love to cook and the wife loves that fact even more. But for the last 3yrs our old stove started giving in and I gave up two years back.

Nigellaaaaahhhhh

Justin Bonello from the SA outdoor cooking program "Cooked" is a close second.

Both of the above personalities are just amateur chefs actually.

I love Rick Stein's food.

Gary Rhodes irritates me.

If I was one of Gordon's employees I would have resigned, before poking him on the snoot, a long time ago. Close to a 100% of the abuse he puts his employees through is not because he's a tough boss but just because he's a bastard.

I agree. His constant swearing and shouting is really not necessary and is too much of a show. although his cooking is really good.

If I was in Gordon's kitchen I reckon he would get **** klap within a minute of me starting. The guy's an ***hole.
