I wiped my RPI that was just sitting idle beneath the TV and loaded Raspbian on it again.

Busy setting up OpenVPN and the no-ip Dynamic Update Client for remote access. I was thinking of selling it but I figured I won't get much for it so I may as well put it to use again

OpenVPN server now, I've also installed GnuRadio on it to use it as a SDR receiver.

Hehe -so the other day they had that PiZero special at pishop.co.za

I got one (because it was R80) and installed Rasplex on it. What an amazing little workhorse. Now my bedroom tv has plex on it. I hate watching telly in bed but I also hate the idea of these things lying idle. We need to get better hobbies...

Pi 2B? A Pi3 case should work. Main difference is the location of the LED's.

Fried my SD card. Took the Pi out it's case with the card still attached. Damn it gets hot fast though.

one of those things in life that will only happen once, lesson learnt...albeit the hard way
not too bad tho right? decent sized class 10 sd card is pretty cheap nowadays

I struggled to find a case for my old 1B for a reasonable price. Ended up making an enclosure from a cheap tupperware-like container
