Your temu orders

My latest order is coming with CN Express. I've never heard of them before. Anyone had an order through them yet?

[Update - being handled locally by Fastway]
No, currently at the airport awaiting flight. So wondering about how different customs and taxes will be with them.

It is a second Fnisri soldering iron, the price dropped on the upgraded package after my first order on the basic package was already in SA. Could not resist since they gave me a credit back on it. Now I have the first order opened wondering how to sell it. Wonder what other items they have that I could buy and sell on easily... for reasons I am open to a slight loss too.

Can you post a links to this deal please?

I was wrong - I had a few HS 02a soldering from various stores in cart that was monitored around R850 and one store dropped to R620 and also I could apply a coupon found in Farmland so I go it for under R560 - or paid R330 and used credit for the balance. The HS02B a few days later dropped somewhere around R780 and that came with 3 tips.

The second one I bought was the HS02A with 6 tips (still not the best one with the nice case and powersupply) - but I was able to use credit back - so I paid regular price around R1200 but getting some (most!) of it back.

For a link to a deal - with their dynamic pricing not possible as the deal (HS02B 3 tip) sold out and it is back to regular price.

The trick is to keep a few items from the different suppliers in your cart and monitor.

https://share.temu.com/oVokh1snEMB currently the HS02B 3 tip is on special again R786, usually it is always priced higher than the 6tip HS02A. HS02B using C210 tips and the smaller length tips are better for close up smd work.

Bargain if you can cascade a decent coupon.

It's bananas how some shops price gouge, I suppose they rely on clueless people with too much money.
And on top of that their's is the cheaper version with no digital display and only one tip, fsks!

Yeah, but if you pay that insane price, at least you're supporting a local enterprise

I bought exactly the same one, was delivered on Friday. Everything has been getting blow jobs over the weekend.

I bought a couple of them last year already, I think. They are the fscking bomb.
One lives inside my bakkie, with its main purpose being to breathe fire into a portable braai fire when my fire-making skills are off on the day.

Oh, and they work well to keep the kids at bay.

Nice, surprised to see they can run up to 100W but I doubt you'd need that on those tiny tips?

Got an order coming with Buffalo again - much better experience so far than the other couriers. Might actually get it in on time
