I've ordered several smart watches and all of them are easy R1200+ cheaper than buying the same device from Takealot or local suppliers.

Temu is really taking over all the Google shopping results lately.

It kind of makes sense when local retailers don't seem to stock the things I'm searching for. For example, 6 out of 8 results for "weather stripping brush" are Temu results and they're significantly cheaper than anything locally.

That's only due to Google customising your search returns.
My search returns are also like that now and that only started after I started browsing/using Temu.

What is impressive is Temu's budget for marketing, there's 8 sponsored search returns in your screenshot and 6 were bought by Temu including the more expensive first 3 slots.

Cape Union Mart is very good with warranties on their house brands, just take it in and they sort it out, you don't even need the invoice. I've taken in an ancient Kway sleeping bag where the seams came undone and they sorted it out no problem.
