Your temu orders

Isn’t this a South African registered shop? So same as buying from takealot or one day only? The good come from the same place…
Maybe someone who has ordered more than 3 times with Temu can confirm. It really doesn't make sense if SARS come after you if you buy a few hundred rand at a time.

Not entirely sure how they are doing it. Sounds like a drop shipper company to me.

I am on order 5.
3 delivered.

About R4000 spent.

Well so far from my last received order I've deduced:

Cheap too good to be true clothing: It might look fine on the pics but when you get it it's super thin polyester - might melt on the first wash kind of junk.

Fake plants: If you do your due diligence and check the reviews with pics there are some real gems out there with low pricing, I'm quite happy with my choices so far.

Household items: Also bordering on cheap junk, but check all the reviews, some are worthwhile and might actually be fit for purpose.

Mechanical items: If it's made from iron, steel, rubber and composites, these are surprising good for what you pay.

Electronics: No idea as I haven't ordered any, but in my opinion no-name items are a gamble whether you get something decent or something that burns your house down. There are almost no regulations on these products.

EDIT: And I also ordered a canvas shoulder bag, which was not as super cheap as the others but about R150 and after first use seems to be pretty decent, happy with the quality so far.

I don’t buy junk electronics from Takealot either. Not worth the risk.
Yep same, if it's unbranded I don't touch. Even branded is a risk, but there are some Chinese brands I will support such as UGREEN, which so far have a good track record which you can follow over time.

Nice but about earbuds, all GP's that I visited have advised me not to use them. Once I had to visit an ear specialist and he did that water syringe cleaning thing as I couldn't hear properly and later on he told me that because I used buds, I kept pushing wax inside.
I bought an enema syringe. Used it 3 years ago and it worked like magic.

I have about 2000 more led lights in my backyard thanks to Temu. Also 8 new motion sensing lights around the house.
Those aren't really any cheaper than takealot from what I could see

can 3 existing users search for my code in their app. if it works i will do theirs.
