Your temu orders

Not searching through the whole thread, but what is everyone doing to bypass the 3 import per individual limit per year? Oh, and here's my order. Ordered 28 March, delivered 12 April. Super happy with quality

some have ordered more than 3 times

so when sars catches them we will know

for now order

There is no limit. Temu is registered in SA.
How does that work? Then we shouldn't be paying any import duties, Temu should be paying it and adding it to your "final price".
I am purely asking this, as I am not sure how it would work with them registered in SA. But according to my limited knowledge, we are still bound by the 3 imports per year

Takealot pay import duties, so does Onedayonly, etc. What difference does it make who pays it?

And be ashamed as all these cheap products are probably made by millions of uighur muslims in concentration camps. Shame on you guys.

There is a difference, as they have import licenses, we as individuals don't. That's why you provide your ID number when buying. So it does make a difference who pays it

Have Temu not outsourced the paying of customs duties to Buffalo?

Here is a quick update, Managed to to track my order from the Skynet website .They had initially said package is out for delivery on Friday but it was never delivered and no notifications to update me sent, my delivery address is work so there is always someone in the mailroom to sign off packages so it couldn't have been that no one was available to receive package. This morning status is out for delivery again and no notifications have been sent and if delivery won't be completed again will these guys suddenly not want to charge me for third time attempt?

Asked to pay R482 taxes on an order valued at R1300(as in what I paid) after coupon discounts(R500) All clothing. Really wasn't expecting that much

Clothing has high duties.

Don't buy clothing off Temu (or any other cheap Chinese retailer) you will end up disappointed anyway.

When it comes to importing without an importer code, things are clear as mud.
From SARS, released 2021:

On DPD, there are other stipulations (not sure when this was published):

If Temu is a registered South African business who deal in ZAR, why do you need an importers code when you buy from them?

Your package has arrived at your local warehouse but has not been delivered yet due to an incorrect shipping address or incomplete information. The package will be returned after 24 hours. Please confirm your correct address on the following link.

Amazon also deals in ZAR?
We are talking past one another here. If YOU as an individual are charged the duties, that is seen as an import, irrespective of the company and where they are registered. Otherwise they will pay the duties as a registered importer, like Takealot.
You don't provide your ID for no reason, that is for SARS
