Not searching through the whole thread, but what is everyone doing to bypass the 3 import per individual limit per year? Oh, and here's my order. Ordered 28 March, delivered 12 April. Super happy with quality

How does that work? Then we shouldn't be paying any import duties, Temu should be paying it and adding it to your "final price".There is no limit. Temu is registered in SA.
Takealot pay import duties, so does Onedayonly, etc. What difference does it make who pays it?How does that work? Then we shouldn't be paying any import duties, Temu should be paying it and adding it to your "final price".
I am purely asking this, as I am not sure how it would work with them registered in SA. But according to my limited knowledge, we are still bound by the 3 imports per year
And be ashamed as all these cheap products are probably made by millions of uighur muslims in concentration camps. Shame on you guys.some have ordered more than 3 times
so when sars catches them we will know
for now order
There is a difference, as they have import licenses, we as individuals don't. That's why you provide your ID number when buying. So it does make a difference who pays itTakealot pay import duties, so does Onedayonly, etc. What difference does it make who pays it?
Have Temu not outsourced the paying of customs duties to Buffalo? There is a difference, as they have import licenses, we as individuals don't. That's why you provide your ID number when buying. So it does make a difference who pays it

Clothing has high duties.Asked to pay R482 taxes on an order valued at R1300(as in what I paid) after coupon discounts(R500) All clothing. Really wasn't expecting that much
Yep, this was first clothing order. Others were gadgets and electronics Won't make that mistake again.Clothing has high duties.
Don't buy clothing off Temu (or any other cheap Chinese retailer) you will end up disappointed anyway.
If Temu is a registered South African business who deal in ZAR, why do you need an importers code when you buy from them? When it comes to importing without an importer code, things are clear as mud.
