Your temu orders

I must say, this price adjustment thing is flipping awesome.

On the 20th I got another R134 price adjustment and today I got another R163!

Just ordered a whole bunch of lint roller refills for R16 a piece that cost over 40 bucks here at the crazy store, along with a bunch of Oral-B "style" toothbrush heads for R16.50 a piece (R130 a piece for the originals) and it cost me nothing! (well it will still attract import duty, but still.)

So thus far I have gotten R508 price adjustment refunds on my first 3 orders (that have already arrived).

Truly insane.

Best online shop in history.

temu can't find my order, a purchase I made after this particular order has already arrived no problem

I wonder who is paying for these refunds? Temu or the supplier?

If you do remember some feedback on the brush heads would be appreciated.

I've bought the generic ones from takealot which are good enough, I suspect the ones on temu for significantly cheaper are exactly the same.

So bought a R209 security camera dual wifi band. The 2.4 ghz was even cheaper. Lol.
It doesn't look like they have cameras that are rtsp/onvif? Which to my limited knowledge means you have to use their app and can't use windows apps like ispy etc

Latest order was some brackets to mount spotlights on my bakkie. Also a telescopic arched microfibre cars wash thingy. The brackets worked perfectly. Pure luck I guess. Both are of decent enough quality.

The microfibre mop works like a bomb. The arched handle means I can stand next to the vehicle and wash the roof without the pole touching. Everywhere else you also get good leverage.

Those brackets were R73 each. It would have cost me more than that just to drive to an engineering place to fabricate it for me. I mean at the current fuel prices it must cost me about R25 just to fscking start the Raptor. .

Fscking alcoholic bakkie hahaha.

off topic...
I placed my 1st order with SUNSKY today. They also use Buffalo and their variety and prices seem good. The item I was looking for, I could only get from them and Aliexpress, which I no longer use, as their shipping is not competitive
I found out they stocked a proper large magnetic window cleaner for 4x cheaper than Amazon and am trying them out as well. I see Buffalo has an ‘ID’ and ‘ID free’ shipping option for slightly more, not sure how that would work but alright, we’ll see how it goes.

Thanks for mentioning the site btw! They stock some “branded” and more misc. stuff which is nice, just gotta watch for minimum quantities on some items.

"ID free" probably means they pay for customs duties.

Ignore the Chinglish tracking info on Temu. Try track it with ITT or Fastway instead.

The other day mine said "out for delivery" on Temu and I even got an email telling me about this. Went on ITT tracking and it was "out for delivery" to the next depot.
 Not much more help but thanks for the suggestion.

What could you use it for and can you buy the thermal paper in South Africa and at what cost?
Edit. I see you can also print onto sticker paper, which would be handy, would that be durable and waterproof?

Waterproof? :p

The sticker paper is also thermal. It's basically till slip paper. So definitely not durable as those things fade after a while.

Learned this the hard way when I thought I could cash in on a product warranty only to find that the slip in the box had nothing written on it anymore. Now I take pictures of my slips if it's something expensive.

R286 on R597 paid (R697 - R100 price adjustment credit) - just over 40%.

R336 was clothing. + 3 ip cams @R76. Split your orders if you doing clothing and factor the 40% into the purchase price.

The previous order of +R900 had under R240 duties with more clothing and the rest of the cart on both carts were the same items at a cheaper price (3 ip cameras, flashlight etc).
