Keep us updated on how much you get taxedFinally some updated ... package arrived at airport after 5 days since flight departing and now handed over to customs.
Yeah same, 212 for a 1037 order. Though one of them did include a 11" portable monitorSee mine also updated at 9:30 - taxes due
R112 on a R800 (one was a "man" bag - my wife insists I buy since I lost (and found) my phone again)Yeah same, 212 for a 1037 order. Though one of them did include a 11" portable monitor
So the tax still isn't really that high and about roughly what we were paying.R112 on a R800 (one was a "man" bag - my wife insists I buy since I lost (and found) my phone again)
R220 duties on R448 is very high, duties are levied on the invoice amount not "full price"I am also awaiting my portable monitor but mine is a 15.6" that was selling for around R686 and applying credit (from the spinning wheel on a previous purchase) I paid R448 - but the darn taxes was R220 and Buffalo are vague on why.
Wish I had bought the 10.5" FHD too, it was R615 at one point (R940 currently) could have had it for R515 with a coupon.
I was lured by the R835 portable with touch, and I had a R150 black friday coupon and some more spinning wheel credit (R274) after getting 40% back on the R686 (paid R448) monitor. Somewhere along the line there was another R20 or so discount and I ended paying R402 for this.
Temu's dynamic pricing has some incredible discounts at times.
How the hell are y'all getting Black Friday coupons, can someone educate me?
I don't think i ever got a coupon
I need to make an order soon so any coupon will help![]()
That's sooooooo weird yo , I don't have credit back and never did before or the wheel to win coupons. You have the app? Have you silenced the notifications? Ignored the emails? On the App check the promotions under You>Messages>Promotions.
When I purchased the R686 15.6" screen for R448 through the credit back promotion not only did I get the 40% credit after spinning (claimable daily over 7 days totalling R274), on that order they gave about 4 coupons (R300 of R1500, R150 of R800, R100 of R600, R60 of R300) - only used the R150 before they expired as I was waiting accumulating the R274 over the 7 days.
So you need to checkout through the Credit back promotion. You can only choose items available on the credit back page, and if the item you have in mind is not on the list - browsing and adding to your normal cart helped to get some items into the page.
Yes none works for me so selected accountsSearch for freereward - takes me to the up to claim 100% back upon checkout.
claimcredit - spinning wheel with 15% off, 30% if checkout within the hour.
Or maybe people get targeted in the campaign, and you are not so lucky.
