Your temu orders

Order R907 mainly workshop stuff R99 tax
Two orders combined as one R1085, tools, light, some plastic, network tools R152 tax

What I noticed is that some of my items I managed to get at significantly lower price than usually.
Like YQK-70 Yellow Manual Hydraulic Pliers Kit for R323.

And then I made another order last night....... Temu is evil but I must say I used almost all the tools/workshop so far and quality is decent.

I do not have app and did not receive any discounts or coupons....

Its between R2000 to R4000, depending on the % they give you back as coins.

I rather went with the R2000 in coupons promo, which gets upgraded to either R4500 or R6000 in coupons if you buy any 2 items.

I did it yesterday and paid R160 for R4500 in coupons with the following breakdown.

R150 off R600
R400 off R1300
R650 off R2000
R500 off R2000
R500 off R2000
R100 off R300
R1450 off R5500
R500 off R2000
R500 off R1500

Note the coupons do expire in 7 days...
Its great if you have something >R1000 or multiple things you want to buy for R2000 and you get R650 off.

I've done this twice now and I went back and checked my initial purchase of R2100 and none of the products dropped in price, so it was definitely a discount.

Sometimes you can find this promo, if you open the App, go to the "you" tab and then in the top right, it shows coupons, click there and its listed under "Special offers for you"
R2000 coupon bundle - Click Get
If it’s R4000 that not be worth the R1300 credit.
Apparently you can cancel orders before they ship, someone mentioned on Reddit you can place a few orders one after each other to see how much you need to spend to get the credit and if it gets ridiculous you can just cancel the orders quickly before they ship and get refunded. I don't know how dodgy that would be?

Noooooo I forgot to order those magnets 😫😫😫😫😫

I see that included "credit" are now in many of the promos, I recall people have already been using them already how exactly does it work, is the credit literally like cash you can spend with no minimum cart value?

Do you guys think its fine to order now and expect it before Christmas? I know we got time but I'm sure because of the busy period it can go bad.

So far I've got two sets of IEM headphones, the KZ EDX and the QKZ AK6, both paid like R8 for thanks to those 90% off. Honestly the sound profile of the QKZ sounds a bit better than the KZ EDX, plus the QKZ has a volume control. The in ear fit of the KZ are a bit better expecially going around the ear.
Though the KZ feels a bit more punchier, it does fall a bit flat on some of the treble, worse is when the silicon earbuds start to come out the ear. May need to organise a replacement of those. Plus the QKZ came in a plastic box, the KZ not. So for a normal price of over R100 compared to the QKZ which hovers around R70, the QKZ would win for value for money hands down.
The KZ just doesn't bring enough to the table to justify the cost.

Received the touch monitor https://share.temu.com/4DoWU05J7qA which was around R835 at the time (I paid R402 after coupons and credit)

Their standard thumbnail shows it at an angle and I therefore thought it was 16:10 - it is 16:9. No cover but did come with a integrated kickstand. The ports and interface buttons are not on the sides, but on the back. Nice - neater and less strain on the cables. Decent enough image and angles. First experience with touch screen on windows, still to play around with it properly - the screen was in extended display mode but the touches was only reacting onto the primary screen.

I see they also have a 16:10 2.5K 144Hz portable on a decent price as well...but I think I am done for now.
Hey, how much tax did you have to pay for this?
