Your temu orders

Wow you saved R4711 , you are a smart shopper
I like to compare local prices with those on Temu, and the difference is often shocking.

Take accessories for my Dreame D10s Plus and L10s Ultra robot vacuums, for example buying them locally is ridiculously expensive. I’m already on my fifth accessories kit, and four of them came from Temu. The quality? Practically identical to the original kits that came with the vacuums.

I also just ordered my second no name beach sunshade similar to the Sun Ninja at less than half the price (about 2.5 times cheaper). When I pitched mine next to my friends sun ninja the material used and quality looked identical aswell whether it will hold up in the long term remains to be seen.

In addition to those two items, I’ve bought another 11 products that would’ve cost me R2,000–R2,500 more if I’d bought them locally.

Pictures below for comparison:
Takealot:

Vs Temu:

Notice how I paid less than R150 for the Dreame accessories instead of more than R2200 on Takealot to get the same amount of bags, brushes, filter etc?

What are the limited-time and special discount, those spin the wheel codes?
Spin wheels? Ugh, no those things drive me crazy. I usually place an order on Temu about every two weeks. I’ll often add items to my cart over the course of a week or so, gradually building it up until I’ve got around ten or more things, then I finally check out. Interestingly, if you leave items in your cart for a few days and then reopen the app, Temu often throws in a special discount to tempt you into completing your purchase. At this point, I always have some kind of discount applied automatically.I've gotten so used to it, I barely even notice anymore. It’s all clearly part of their marketing strategy. That said, Temu can be a goldmine if you shop smart. Stick with well reviewed products from reputable “Star Sellers” and you can really get great value for your money.

What you ordered a piece of concrete or something?

I will order later today so let's see if I'm as unlucky as you 😂
one of my other orders I placed 2 days after the above one and it was delivered this past Friday already, but it was a Buffalo order, not Fastway, like the slow one

Fastway courier's not the issue here. Labor day celebrated from May 1st to May 5th, a five day holiday. Additionally, Youth Day celebrated May 4th, honoring young people was the cause for your shipping delay. I'm surprised you saw any movement on your package at all.

First pair of shoes I got from temu where the loops for the shoe laces snapped instantly :-( surprisingly this was the more expensive ones.
I've had 3 other pair of shoes without a hitch and are pretty comfortable, also apparently a XXXL jacket that is more like an XL, guess they were Chinese XXXL??

LOL. I have experienced the same everywhere. I have no idea what standards are used by different companies around the world. I am 88kg and about 10kg overweight but M size track pant from Pnp clothing fits me perfectly.

M size track pant from Edgars is tight fit size L is same as M size from Pnp clothing.

I wear XL size jeans (size 36) - jeans size seems standard across companies though.

Yeah no idea on tops either, for pants I'm a 40, tops I'm an xl to xxl, but sometimes I need to go up to xxxl cause they make up some really weird sizes.
Shoes I'm 10 to 11, as those also seem to vary. Jeans as you said at least those are all the same.
