Your temu orders

Idiot me forgot to claim credit yesterday. Eish...
Eeish, how much was it?
When I have credit to claim I have two recurring reminder Notifications set each day, one in the morning one in the evening, hasn't failed me yet.

So ClaimCredit was back for me again today, it looks like it rolls over at month end and restarts.
But now they only offer R1052 credit back on R2650 spend, basically 40% off the listed price + the pita of having to claim back the credit or miss them altogether. I had a few items I really needed so I placed the order but I'm probably going to leave things for a month or two until I get offered the truly lucrative ClaimCredit promos again.

I've noticed now that 30-40% is Temu's general discount level off the going price, the order 3 things get discount vouchers max discount is 30-35% off and if you play around with searching for an item and adding/removing the item your cart they will drop the listed price by the same 30-40%. The latter is probably the preferably route considering there's no pre-order costs to get vouchers, no claimcredit bs and your actual checkout total is less so you pay less duties.

I don't know why it took so long, maybe because Temu obfuscates it so much... I finally worked out how to see the actual discounted promo price of an item, which is neigh impossible on the search or item page if you have credits to use but once it is in your cart just untick it as if you weren't going to order it and the price shown there is the actual discounted price after their limited time promo is deducted. Then just re-add it and place the order.

Did the last day of 3rd claimcredit order yesterday, got the coins promotion today. Blegh!

Later that day I repeated the order for the item, and it was in SA by xmas day. I used home address, maybe I can get it by Friday. [Update] I see now that it is also with Fastway via CN Express (Temu tracking is not up to date) - last time my order sat +50 hours with this local franchisee before getting onto the delivery vehicle. I think I can wait, would not want to go into the Pinetown area today.

Fastway delivered much quicker this time. Quantum vehicle with a huge logo, other final leg deliveries have mostly been in a unmarked vehicle. No signing for anything, or attempt noting down the person it is given to. Dicey, considering the value (Android Tablet).

Has anyone logged any returns on claimcredit orders? I ordered a remote-controlled camera mount, but the remote is faulty (LCD doesn't work). I don't want to jeapordise my claimcredit participation, but this is a pretty expensive paperweight at the moment. They don't even need to replace the item, just a new remote will do.

Yes but it was only R200 and the item was damaged, you are allowed to do returns if the reason is damage or similar, you are not allowed to return items because you don't want them. Also remember they may not refund more than has already been claimed back, like on an order where you only paid R220 on a R2650 order they won't pay back more than the R220.

I haven't gotten a claimcredit pop-up for about 3 days now I think. Anyone else?

I was "due" for one this morning, but nothing. By due I meant I claimed the last credit of the previous one yesterday, and then normally the new one would be available the next day.
