Your temu orders

I've also got a parcel out for delivery with gfx, no customs was asked.

Thought it was just luck, but I did notice the prices on temu on the items I ordered went up about 20% - thought it was war related.

Much prefer it this way. No dodgy courier dealings.
Yes, also noticed stuff in my basket jumped in price, but at least one now knows what you're in for

Too many stalls in open air markets are displaying goods imported from Shein or Temu with a significant mark up. My wife found several items where the original label was still attached and available from Temu at a fraction of the cost.

You get the same on takealot.

Been hitting the Temu hard this week.

Got some popup to get R9000 or some nonsense credit and all I had to do is buy one item off the list and there just happened to be an item that was already in my cart and it was the exact same price (27-zone heated vest for R264).

Ended up getting a whole wack of R150 off R151 vouchers, among others. Think I'm on my 9th order already. But that's the end of it.

Now I'm a bit worried about customs...

I've just placed my second credit777 order within the week. I mean, who doesn't want free stuff? I was hoping to get a Teclast tablet, but alas, it is not on the list.

Customs is included in the pricing now; there is no extra charge anymore.

When I search for "credit777" on the app it said "This activity has expired".

Do a regular search for credit777, wincredit, and claimcredit. They're not always available, but when they are, they are awesome.

And then keep an eye on your messages as well. Sometimes, under promotions in messages, there are links to claimcredit or wincredit or credit777, which wouldn't otherwise be available.

For the clothing items it looks like barely a change on the prices. For the electronics items (well some anyway) it is a massive difference. For example the Teclast ArtPad Pro for which I paid around R3600, it is now around R4600. Some 27% higher. I paid around R400 in customs/vat for each of these tablets in December.

The thermal imager and portable screens are quite a bit higher that what the customs had previously been. Wish I had pulled in the Fluke (counterfeit or otherwise) meter then, now again over 27-30% up on price.

Clothing seems about the same, I finally checked out a few items clothing (+shoes) and these are at a lower price than what I have monitored over the 4 months.

Been searching for credit777 and claim credit for every day for 102 days now without any luck.

Also it is so tricky to navigate the items, I have about R2000 credit. An item shows up as R150 price (with promo discount) for example. I go in and it shows R0 after applying promos and credit to R230. Fortunately this is not taking the R230 from the credit, only the R150 but it shows the full price as R230. So becomes a bit confusing until you checkout.

Just got taken for a ride now.

Stepdad asked me to order a mosquito net to put over his hat cause apparently he's getting chowed up in the karoo.

Opened the app and some "Choose 3 items for 1 rand each" thing popped up. I figured let's play their little game since it actually worked out great last time.

Picked the 3 items, then you have to make an order of R150 minimum to actually "cut" the price of each item to 1 rand. And you have to pick from the list of stuff they have which feature nicely inflated prices.

Ordered a couple nets and a net hat on the first order and a bunch of microfiber towels and some kind of fridge glue on the second one (Yes, I've run out of things to buy).

Then for the third item, suddenly the rules of the game change and you have to "cut" the price by R386 but in small print it says "cut amount = 5% * order amount", meaning I have a choice of either spending almost R8000 to cut the last item to 1 rand or cancel the whole dumb game, which I did.

So yeah, I got scammed.

Don't play the stupid "Cut to R1" game.

Yeah this is super irritating. End up having to add multiple listings of the same item to the cart and then selecting each one individually to see which one is actually the cheapest.
