YouTube incognito mode rolling out for Android

Google is rolling out an incognito mode for YouTube on Android, which disables your watch and search history, 9to5Google reported.

When the feature is enabled, the “sign out” button at the bottom of the account page is replaced with “Turn on Incognito.”

You can change your user settings in Youtube and set it to not save your watch history.
For your browser, go to history, select the items to remove and remove them.

What is so hard about that?

Doesn't work like that anymore. You have to go into Google's history and delete it from there.

Do you use chrome?

The point of 'incognito' I gather is so other people do not see your browsing / watching history
I would therefore assume that they do not have log in details to your google account and therefore cannot access your activity?

If they do, that's on you really.

I have many signed in devices like my TV etc. Not going to sign out everytime.

Maybe they want to buy their SO a gift and is searching for reviews and they're already in the youtube app. There can be many reasons why you would want to hide something so no not a useless feature.

this ! kids watch kiddie shows all the time and floods my recommendations with useless stuff.
