Youtube Video - Streaming Service

Hi Guys


I need advise on this script I was playing around with the past week. This script allows you to use Youtube API to pull through videos and stream the music. How it works is, it uses Spotify API to search artists, once Artist is found then it searches on Youtube for the video to stream the music. The top 50, new realeses are pulled from Spotify API and then finds video on youtube to stream. You have an option to watch the video on the player or just listen as mp3 and hide the youtube video. If the song found on Spotify is not available on youtube yet then it will tell you, song not available. No videos streamed are hosted on the server. Its all videos on youtube servers already available to the public.

I have actually put it up for a drive test, managed to secure a nice domain name for it as well but are not sure if this would be legal, if there's someone out there who can advise me, that would be great. Am ready to take it down if it will be in violation of any laws.

If it would be legal in this country then I would need somebody who is interested for us to drive this and market it well.

Well for one, unless you're including the YouTube ads, someone is losing out on revenue, so YouTube will definitely complain.

Youtube ads are in the video - you won't be able to skip/exclude them.

Grey area, just don't make it an Android app as Google doesn't like streaming while the apps closed. And maybe get an international domain, looks good.
