Hi

Would you go for the Z10 or Iphone 5??

IPhone 5.

I played with the z10 this weekend and although I think BB have done a fantastic job, the app store cannot and will not compare to iPhone or Android. If you just want your phone for basic email and browsing it's much of a muchness so take either.

I would however recommend any of the 2013 android phones.

Can't comment on the Z10 but loving my iPhone 5.Gorgeous screen, super fast, best appstore. The list goes on and on and.......

Troll!!!
He didn't ask about that option

What I would have rather said:
I suggest waiting to see what the S4 will be like before deciding between the 2.
However, between those 2 alone, definitely the iphone 5 :)

That's just choosing the lesser of two evils. I guess I'd have the iPhone 5 because I could sell it for more.

They actually both sell for about the same price atm from what I've seen. Maybe even a slight advantage to the Z10...

I am using the iPhone 4 and am currently testing the Z10 on CellC (R57 pm with for 1GB of data) - I think the Z10 has potential - considering it just got released, it will take some time for apps to catch up. There is a more detailed feedback thread here - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/508036-My-Blackberry-Z10-experience-and-problems

I think Apple has done very little (other than providing different hardware platforms for iOS) when it comes to be progressive in the last 2 years. The BB10 OS and the concepts are something fresh I currently enjoy - probably the virtual keyboard and typing experience is the best.

Biggest drawback at the moment is the lack of apps on BB Appworld.

i've gone from a s3 , to a iphone5, and honestly i can say, i cant find anything i dont like about the iphone5, that said, i set up someones z10 at work yesterday, and its not as user friendly as the android or iphone

iPhone 5 but got to agree with kingrob, wait for the S4. Anyone due for an upgrade within the next month or so, regardless of their allegiance, would be doing themselves a huge dis-justice by not considering the S4.

i had a few iPhones including iPhone 5 and sold it a few days later i got it.
Besides the 4" screen, the OS is exactly the same as 4 and 4S. I was bored with iPhone 5 as it doesn't offer anything new.
I currently have a Z10 and honestly love it. Yes has lack of apps but the phone itself is really a big improvement from previous BB's.
The removable battery / expandable storage (microSD) / miniHDMi port is a plus.

Use a Z10 and iPhone 5 and make a decision.

I'd take the Z10.

It's fresh and new.

Not as fresh as the S4 though.

Have you tried a flagship Android like the S3? Imo it is by far the most functional, attractive and sophisticated mobile OS if done up properly. For less than R300 you can import a 4500mAh battery for it too, giving insane battery life.

Loving my new iPhone 5. Went for the 64GB option. Oodles of songs, apps, movies and pr0n.

...and the extra row of icons on the home screen has increased my daily productivity by 75%.
