Oh that Thorn bounty ;-) Right now I am trying to get the Chaperone done which is on a completely different level for me (I hate PvP and only do it for completing the exotics). I am grinding through IB to get to level 5 (doing this on my hunter which I deleted and started fresh and now need to up my crucible rank).

I will play IB for some time (until I get to the point where I am restraining myself from throwing the controller at the TV). I have no idea how some of those guys manage to move and have reflexes like a kitten (and some guys have sniping skills which are on another level altogether). I don't take all of this too serious and found that if I play semi-drunk I manage to get my KDR above 1 - hahaha. No worries if I run into your shotgun/fist/rocket/grenade - I will laugh it off and will then hunt you down (and probably rinse-repeat another death).

Still need to complete a TTK raid on any toon, but the RNG-fairy has been kind and despite no raid-gear I am now on 305 - hahaha. I am relying on plenty of kinderguardians playing this weekend and that RNG will be kind.

Thought you would have found it more forgiving seeing as it's Clash for this IB.

Yes, Clash is more enjoyable. ToO I actually managed to get gold level (never made it to Mercury as during my last match internet went down), but was carried all the way by to guys who took everyone out

Your reflexes in some of those firefights early Saturday morning...were AMAZING

I am only going to do my hunter to level 5. Since the last update (PS4) there is a complete lag (over 2 sec) when firing the first shot with black spindle, any hand gun or rocket launchers. I first thought it was my controller, but after the first shot is fired, all subsequent shots are fast. Strangely this does not affect auto-/pulse-/fushion-rifles or shotguns. So my loadout is bad to start with (Bad Juju, shotgun with full auto and machine gun) and I only play on my hunter because I deleted it to get the void sword quest.

I prefer titan (when you hear that hammer sound, everyone gets worried) or warlock. My KDR used to be a lot better when I was able to use handguns (last word), but this glitch is completely ruining IB for me. In PVE I normally fire one shot first and then the guns fire as they should, however they "reset" to being slow when you switch - so you can see my issue right there.

Leveled up my alts yesterday in a couple of hours. Banner was a lot more rewarding because of the packages and the fact that I could get to level 5 from fresh in 2 hours.

Might try the raid again this weekend to get he helmets but probably going to move back to Fallout

I am avoiding buying Fallout till the holidays - otherwise I will not get any work done ;-)

I know not many still dapple in the world of destiny, but I'm still looking to complete the Kings Fall Raid still, I managed to get to Oryx but then everybody ended up leaving.

I have never been able to play with any locals, but found that guys from US/UK and NZ are always super helpful - best time to play those are from around 4am onwards (I always find good groups when I log in on a Sunday around 8am).

I nowadays just do warpriest and golgroth on hard-mode (and challenge) as it is quick and not much of an issue. the rest is super painful and just takes so long. If you get to Oryx, you will have the checkpoint and you will get plenty of people wanting to just skip and do it though.

The Destiny South Africa fb group heydra shared on page 6 is another option

I was stuck at the same point for ages, every KF raid; we'd get to Daughters/Oryx and disband

I ended up getting my Oryx kill with a group running NM as practice for the Oryx CM strat

Depends on the group. Done Oryx challenge on the first try with a group from LFG. Actually 5 manned it

Sign up for the 100.io. You book your place in a raid team and off you go. Prefer using this for raids.

I am so over Oryx: I have tried hard-mode for the last 3 weekends so that I could finish "Moments of Triumph Y2" (only needed hard mode). Last weekend was challenge mode as well and what a true PITA as people just could not get it together and place the spheres in the corner or kill the knights fast enough before the light-eaters took out the spheres. So glad I finished HM as I have zero intention to do that raid (I have done it about 6 times since last year).

I hope that Rise of Iron raids are more in line with Crota/Vog. I completely hate all the jumping parts in the Taken King (I am just not good at it and there is no real way to practise other than doing the raid) - I did enjoy Warpriest and Golgoroth.

I swapped back from Division 3 weeks ago as I got bored with the game and all the "salt" in DZ and matchmaking. I find the Destiny/PS4 crowd a lot more sociable and entertaining. Right now finishing of the last few PvP questlines (trying to get the exotic faction items as well as Chaperone is the only exotic I don't have) and I am busy collecting as many exotic engrams and weapon parts before ROI.

The ZA clan (https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/134791) is generally not very active (and my limited time during the week also does not help).

Not sure about that quest line, will have to look into it....

Np. Teamed up with two other guys and did a classic free for all and finished one toon. Will do the 2nd tonight and then work on chaperone since there is nothing else to do.

I have over 60 exotic engrams in the vault for next week - from farming secret ultra knight on dreadnaught.
