THE ruling party launched another scathing attack on Democratic Alliance leader Helen Zille by calling her a “witch”.

This time it was African National Congress heavyweight and Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana who threw another punch at the soon to be sworn-in Premier of the Western Cape.

Mdladlana made the remark during an official unveiling of the Mkiva Monument in Bolotwa near Dutywa on Saturday.

Mdladlana said he was disappointed to hear on television news recently that “some young people thought Zille was a good leader who was working hard for the betterment of the people”.

In reference to Zille, Mdladlana said in isiXhosa, “Igqwirha iyohlala iligqwirha”, which, directly translated into English, means “a witch will remain a witch”.

Mdladlana said a “witch” would never change and slammed the young black voters who voted for the DA in the recent polls.

The attack by Mdladlana comes hot on the heals of another attack on Zille by ANC Youth League president Julius Malema.

Last week the firebrand youth leader called Zille a “racist little girl”.

“She (Zille), the racist little girl, must remember that Zuma is her boss,” Malema said, according to Sapa.

“Helen Zille must report to Zuma about the Western Cape … the racist girl has not won … all of them must call ‘President Zuma’, President,” Malema said.

ANC are a bunch of children always throwing the toys out the cot when they can't get their way.

Strangely enough, Zille must be a formidable witch or magician of some sort considering the miraculous way in which she's cleaned up the ANC's bodily leftovers in this city, not to mention having won the Western Cape :)

Either that or... or... people are starting to think!!!

What's that saying? You can teach a parrot to talk, but you can't teach a parrot to understand what it says.
 
In fine African (and many other ancient) traditions, "witches" still get murdered on a regular basis. Surely, Mdladlana must be aware of that. What is he really trying to accomplish?
 
Its amazing what sore losers the ANC are turning out to be.

Just imagine what would happen if they lost the national elections.
 
Before the 2011 elections Zille should file for defamation of character against the ANC and bankrupt them before they can start campaigning :D

Funny thing is that in this day and age, history is accurately recorded through not only the written word, but through other media like radio and television. So, in the future you simply can't deny the facts. Regardless of this whole "out-of-context" perpetual excuse we always hear, anyone with two braincells can see through the lies. I hope their grandchildren's grandchildren are ashamed.

it seems the ANC want to be given everything on a platter, with some gravy mind you, as if it is their birthright. they cannot handle the fact that they lost to a white women.
 
hopefully the da are looking into the actions needed to cede the wc from the banana republic because thats what it will come down too

During the DA led coalition's rule of Cape Town there were numerous attempts to dismantle it, it was never ending and none of these attempts were based on 'issues'.

The ANC accuses everyone else who does not support them of being counter revolutionary or racist. They do not address the issues, they really do not know how to when they are beaten fairly.

Now its all just 'race politics' for them to try and conjure up a head of steam down there and that really only emphasizes their inability to address the problems that cost them the vote.
 
If anything Malema is racist lol .

I mean if the ANC are "perfect" etc why do they still result to name calling? Just let the people decide who is a witch or a racist.

It could be a white or pink person in charge,they will still be called racist etc :rolleyes:
