Zille at it again

No law says she can not, or should not. Her reasons seem to be valid. At least now Zuma will have something to respond to in his address.

No law says its not okay to give a minister a car, but that does not make it right. As for the valid reasons, reviewing a budget is certainly not one.

Ya i don't quite see why she can't wait like one should and then she has a chance to respond to Zuma's speech.

It seems to me she just doesn't want to show him any sort of respect. The gloves are off on this one!

Respect is earned, not given ;)

Unfortunately she is the best we've got. Goes to show what a mess we are in :(

She's aggravating the ANC unnecessarily now. We could end up paying a big price for naive, childish, arrogance

Yeah,like digging up cuban cigars.

.. so that's a reference to uncovering corruption and useless government expenditure, which is meant to be a bad thing?

Actually she's said it's specifically for the provincial budget and moving to a new administration which means they have more work than other provinces.

Do we really need a state of the nation address from zooma. We know how diabolical things are at the moment. Jeez suffering through his 'speech' at the IPL final last night was enough. He really needs to work on his reading skills.

If it was anything like his speech after the IPL tournament, then I say ho hum.

She is serious about service delivery instead of just paying lip service like the ANC.

Why waste three days of parliament's time... crack the whip... put those fatsos to work.

AMEN!

Zuma's true colours are already starting to show... He promised the taxi associations his support before the elections and now that he's in power he ignores them like the plague.

Just another ANC cronie trying looking out for numero uno!

Of course i agree but she has to show some level of respect. He is president and she is not. Whether she likes it or not we have to uphold the etiquette of parliament and how things are done.

LOL! This is just nitpicking by the ANC!

OMW! STOP THE PRESSES! ZILLE WANTS TO GIVE A SPEECH?!?!?!!?111111111!!!

Oh-the-Huge-Manatee!!

Oh really?

Did they find an invoice showing that it was bought with goverment money?

Since you claim it was a reference to "corruption and useless goverment expenditure" i suspect you have a little more evidence.

Feel free to share.

You're kidding right??

Simply wanting to get the formalities out of the way so that she can start working is frowned upon, but ANC members disregarding etiquete and ethical behaviour at every junction is ok? She should be commended, not scolded!

Our esteemed president puffs out hot air and little more, Zille actually makes a difference. It's the actions and results that speak to the character and worthiness of an elected official, not the empty promises and dubious history of the popular vote.

These double standards are a joke, just like parliament. Have you ever watched them going at it like four year olds. They don't even understand basic principles such as the seperation of party and state.

But please, don't listen to me... lets let the next four years speak to the character and respect worthiness of our leaders. Lets see which way the wealth disparity grows, lets see what comes of the promises made by those who the majority have placed their hopes and dreams in...

lets see!
