I can honestly say that this is probably something truly taken out of context - in an ocean of out-of-context excuses made by politicians. She doesn't want a black DA...she doesn't want a white DA...she doesn't want a polka dot DA...she wants an everyone DA.
 
Yeah doesn't seem like something she would say, is he gunning for her seat?
 
Here we go again defending Helen or justifying what she said...... "she didn't mean it like that" blah blah etc ..... the other way around it could been oh here we go with cANCer etc all worse staff

The sources said Coetzee, who was for years seen as close to Zille, believed the leadership had failed to heed advice to do something drastic to change the DA’s complexion and make black people feel at home.

Coetzee also believed that the party’s lack of commitment to the advancement of black people undermined his strategies to increase its share of the vote from 16.6 percent in 2009 to 30 percent in the 2014 general elections, the sources said.

Ag FFS. Dude I am 28 white and male. I seriously do not give a rats arse about race or politics. I myself do not trust politicians, but even I can see the national soccer party will do a better job than the ANC. I love this country and the people in it. Start accepting that we are all here and we can live together. If you can not do that then YOU are the racist. I can ride my dirt bike to work where I live. It wont be tollarated in USA or Australia or europe. Just one of the many reasons I love RSA.

I do not mean to offend you, I am just gatvol of this stupid black/white debate.

Buy a gaming pc, get battlefield 3 and use your hate on other people. It relieves alot of stress and you can troll as much as you like there.

Coetzee dismissed as nonsense assertions that he ditched the DA because of Zille’s alleged lack of commitment to advance black leaders. He said he had left for greener pastures and remained an “enthusiastic and loyal” DA member.

“These so-called allegations are utter, unadulterated nonsense. Helen Zille has led the DA’s growth agenda from the front from day one, and has never relented in her efforts to grow the party. It is bizarre to suggest anything to the contrary.”

Seems Coetzee, himself has dismissed this supposing reason for him leaving as being nonsense
