Both the British and Dutch introduced the idea of apartheid but it was the NP that enforced it on a national scale.

Sure much has changed, but in 15 years Zimbabwe has become exactly like the Apartheid state. Isolated in every way and hardly the economic power house that Japan is - what you're saying is tantamount to trying to boycott the USSR while South Africa suffered sanctions.

As such, the more things change the more they seem to stay the same.

The main difference is the majority of the NP didn't get filthy rich by oppressing the majority, (PW Botha took 20 years to pay off his little house in George - look up the you tube interview), the money went back into building the country's infrastructure and defense.

The ZIM tyrants HAVE gotten filthy rich, and can't afford to let go. And worse, they are oppressing the same people they supposedly fought to free... they did this only with all the begging and the help from the WEST, which they now seek to denigrate!
