Terrorism cannot be condoned.

Covert warfare on the other hand.... But who will go to war against the mad one?

But you are right, cut fuel and electricity and most of the trouble will stop. The poorest up there don't have those things now so you won't be hurting too many.

What does Zimbobwe have that might spur an invasion?

If a significant amount of crude oil was discovered in Zimbobwe, and GWB not out of the picture, then maybe the USA would show some interest.Points taken & noted, so what other options are there then - especially considering the soft-boiled stance SA has towards Mad Bob?

What did Vietnam have to spur conflict, Somalia, Serbia, Afghanistan, Korea...... Mad Bob comrade Saddam gets invaded and suddenly everything is for oil

The U.N won't do anything because it's impotent. To get support from all the major nations for actions is impossible. Russia and China for example have no problem with mad Bob. He is very good alley material actually.

By some miracle there is an agreement to remove him who'll supply the troops. Certainly not any Western countries. U.S , U.K etc are stretched thin while the likes of France and Germany won't even send any troops of significant number to Afghanistan. Only China or Russia could possibly send troops.

Lastly Zim is a threat to nobody except Zimbabweans and thanks to the ANC South Africans. Compared to the other major problems in the world Zim comes well down the pecking order and rightfully so I'm afraid.

As I see it, the French liberated themselves. I don't see why Africans can not do the same, they sure handed it to the West (Kenya for one) when they wanted independence.
