A policeman has returned popular Zimbabwean protest pastor Evan Mawarire's Bible after he lost it in a packed courtroom last week, according to his group.
Mawarire, 39, must have thought the tattered Bible with the red cover was lost forever after the emotional hours he spent in the Harare Magistrate’s Court on July 13.
He was freed after the court ruled his constitutional rights had been violated.
His #ThisFlag group said on its Twitter account: "A member of the ZRP (Zimbabwe Republic Police) who doesn't want to be named contacted us via FB 2 return @PastorEvanLive's lost Bible. Thank u!"
It added: "[The policeman's] words were: "Hatidi kutamba nemunhu wamwari! Tatambura tese!" #ThisFlag.

Loosely translated, the policeman allegedly said he and his colleagues did not want to interfere with a man of God, adding: "We are all suffering."
President Robert Mugabe on Tuesday accused Mawarire of not being "a true preacher of the Bible."
Mawarire began #ThisFlag in April with a simple video message of his frustration over corruption and poverty in the country.
Zimbabwe's police force is frequently accused of being biased against Mugabe opponents. On Wednesday, members of the force escorted thousands of youths through Harare to the ruling Zanu-PF party headquarters.
The youths had been told to march to see land handed out for free housing stands, following a promise Mugabe made at a Million Man March in May.
