ZiNG is a chat client for mobile devices, similar to Mxit and Whatsapp.
The client runs on Java-enabled feature phones, BlackBerry devices, Android devices, and Apple iOS devices.
It was developed by BlazingChilli.
The application features a rewards system that gives users points for clicking on advertisements. In South Africa, these points can then be redeemed for airtime on any of the five mobile networks, usually at an exchange rate of R5 per 5,500 points.
