when ever i let zone alrm run i cannot access the internet,I have tried different settings but it blokes the internet.I have to exit zone alarm from the system tray to access.I dont understand it why as i set everything to null.this is also frustrating.what settings work for you all that uses zonealarmpro.

Is this the Security Suite or the standalone? I've had no probs with ZA Sec Suite 7. It works better even than the independent Kaspersky AV.
Is it in Automatic Learning Mode?

Just make sure none of the stop, lock options etc. are set.

I have always liked my Zone Alarm. Dont know why. Will always recomend it to anyone. It's just $$$ these days to get the pro version.

The reason I don't like Zone Alarm is that it is more resource hungry.

Try the time limited version. You can then delete it (in a particular way) and start again without needing a time machine.

Throw ZA away. I used it for a few years but recently switched to Comodo Firewall. Much nicer plus it scores better on leakage tests.

I wont ever say bye-bye to my ZA. This is my ZA, our ZA - dude, youre totally OT here.

Have never worked with Comodo. Will give it a run sometime to see.

When connecting the network between 2 computers using the Mega200W router modem, would I add the new network as trusted or internet zone on zonealarm ?

No way - ZoneAlarm is probably the only firewall I would recommend for a Windows system ^^

It's like Winzip, Winamp, Norton, Nero etc. They get bloated, expensive etc. The developers keep adding **** until its useless or they start charging for it.

Try googling "zonealarm cannot uninstall completely". That will give you 100 000 results for Uninstalling related headaches. Microsoft even has a support article on it. lol

Just add the other PC, not the entire network.

The comodo process is using about 20K.
